A Family-Owned Business . . .

Richard’s Landscaping & Tree Service is owned and operated by Richard Boyette Sr. and his son, Richard Jr. Richard Sr. is a retired member of the U.S. Army, and is a disabled veteran. He got his start in landscaping while working at Fort Lee, where he managed maintenance and groundskeeping for the base. The idea for his own landscaping business evolved from there, and in 1980, Richard Sr. started Richard’s Landscaping & Tree Service.

Richard Jr. has been with the company his entire life. He was always helping out. In his younger days, he would chop trees for firewood for the family woodstove; today, Richard Jr. is a principal member of the Richard’s Landscaping & Tree Service team.

At Richard’s Landscaping & Tree Service, our lawn care and customer care are second to none. Our business is built upon the promise to treat your lawn as we treat ours. To us, the little details matter. No job is considered complete until twigs, grass clippings and other debris are cleared from a work site.

Richard’s Landscaping & Tree Service will not take a job just to “make a buck.” We want to do the right job at the right time, so the best results are achieved for your property. Oftentimes, people call us in the summer to trim a tree for them. We ask to wait until the winter to do so, as tree trimming during the summer can kill the tree. We always explain our reasoning; ultimately, we strive to educate our customers and do the right thing by them.
